Solid food update

Just an update on Cayden’s introduction to solid food. After rice cereal, carrots and sweet potatoes, he has also tried green peas, cauliflowers, mushrooms, corns, butternut squash and oatmeal. Cayden has been a good eater so far. Most of the time, he finishes the food in his bowl. He tends to eat more efficiently when I sing to him. He is also good at letting me know when he has enough – by closing his lips really tight and moving his head left and right. He still has to learn to open his mouth wide and to allow the spoon rest on top of his tongue. He also has to master his swallowing skill – to move the food from the front to the back of his mouth.
